New Announcements
Dear Lightweight Community
The 2022 AGM will be held under the association rules which became effective on 28th November 2017. The details of these rules are outlined in our constitution and can be accessed on our Lightweight Mcc website. In accordance with the Act we are unable to hold our AGM until the completion of the Calendar year (31st December) and the financials audited as the audit report must be presented. As such please be advised that our 2022 AGM will be held on Friday 21st of January at 6.30pm at Byford and Districts Country Club (88 Linton Street, Byford).
Three Director positions will be made vacant. Positions becoming vacant will be Director Memberships, Director Facility Management and Director Finance. Nomination for the director positions must be received by 5pm on December 31st 2021 as per the instructions on the attached Nomination forms, along with role descriptions for the director roles. At this time, we also invite members to put forward any motions for the AGM. Should you wish to make a submission, please email – 2022 is set to be a fantastic year – please consider stepping forward to be part of the Lightweight Mcc journey next year.
We also ask for anyone able to help out with on the Track Crew to put their hands up. The more helpers we can get on board the better prepared our track and facilities will remain so come on down and learn how to drive our machines!
